Basil & Vine Bistro
A reservation-first restaurant website that turns browsing into booked tables, built around the menu, seasonal photography, and a frictionless reservation flow.

The Challenge
Basil & Vine’s previous site was essentially a static menu PDF with a phone number — no online reservations, no way to browse the seasonal menu before visiting, and no presence for private event enquiries.
Our Approach
We designed a warm, photography-led site around the restaurant’s seasonal menu, integrated OpenTable for real-time reservations, and added a dedicated private events path for corporate and celebration bookings.
Seasonal Menu Presentation
The menu is organized by course with seasonal callouts and dietary tags, replacing the old static PDF with something guests can actually browse and get excited about.
Real-Time Table Reservations
OpenTable integration lets guests see live availability and book instantly, removing the friction of calling during service hours.
Private Events & Weekend Brunch
A dedicated events page handles private dining and corporate booking enquiries, while a separate weekend brunch section highlights a previously under-promoted revenue stream.
The Results
Table reservations made through the website rose 47%, the restaurant’s average online rating climbed to 4.8 stars as service consistency improved, and repeat-guest bookings grew alongside brand visibility.
